It's a chore getting them to do Chores...

Interesting weekend. I got a lot of yard work done, and the tree fort that was in the backyard for the last 5 years is now a pile of ash.

Something I’m trying to teach these guys is a work ethic. I find myself telling them that if I did my job the way they did their chores, I would be fired. I feel bad about hound them on their chores, but where else are they going to learn to pay attention to detail, and do the job right. It’s a slow process, but eventually they will catch on. Plus, they do know that I am a rewarder of hard work. I made spaghetti last night, and we made Buffalo wings the night before; their favorites.

My new bike is not working right. On the downward stoke on the right hand side I’m getting a popping sound. The crank assembly seems to be okay, but I just can’t seem to locate the source of the problem. I hate to take it in, but it looks I have to.

I think they are making too much of the infamous 16 words in the presidents state of the union speech. Quite frankly, I wouldn’t apologize for saying it because even though the CIA says its source was questionable, the source (British Intelligence) stands by what they said. It’s much ado about nothing. Get over it.
