Heartbreak

My little girl is being humiliated at school by this girl and her friends now. Thursday was a very bad day for her. This is what I was afraid would happen, and why I had misgivings about Cheryl calling the girls father.

She is terribly alone, and has no friends that I know of. I feel totally helpless, because I know there is not a thing I can do for her except assure her that I love her, and be as good of dad as I know how to be.

I took her up to Barnes and Nobles last night to buy her some magazines and some hot chocolate. Cheryl is devastated for her.

I not so naïve to think that all of this has come upon her for nothing; there are things that she has, and should not have done. Nevertheless, it is heartbreaking to see my little girl go through this.

Cheryl let her stay home from school today.
