This really irks me...

I just heard something on the radio. I found an article here

A mother of 2, wanted to party with her boyfriend, but didn’t want to do it in front of her kids, so she puts them in their car seats in the attic of the house.

Later the boyfriend hears them crying, and when investigating finds them being eaten by rats. Now I know that sounds like a harsh choice of words, but what else were those rats doing? Having a taste test?

She says she didn’t know the attic was rat infested. Regardless… she put them in their cars seats, in the attic, alone… so she could party with her boyfriend.

She is 22 years old. Being a 38 year old veteran father I know about the difficulties you can have raising children. Everyone needs a break, I understand that. But never once did we stick our kids (5 months old mind you) restrained in car seats, in an attic, room, garage, or anything of the sort… EVER! When we wanted time alone, we found a babysitter, or we did without.
